A Toronto dentist located downtown as Sherbourne and Bloor (right across from the TTC subway station) named Dr Natalie Archer is sponsoring a Lenzr photo contest called Good Dental Habits that hopes to set a reminder for people, and transmit a collection of good ideas (user submitted content) that other folks can learn from - and perhaps ritualize to affect a white smile and healthier mouth.
The contest comes to an end on March 1st 2012, at which time the winner will be taking home a brand new Apple iPad2 . Good luck. More details on the Lenzr blog

Toronto Christmas Market Photo Contest |

The Distillery District located at 55 Mill Street is host to the Toronto Christmas Market which is a massive assembly of food vendors and novelties, art and antiques and plenty of attractions for the kids in the family.
The lighting of the Christmas Tree and the myriad of holiday sconces and almost a hundred thousand overhead light bulbs requiring magnets and reed switch relays was the highlight of the exciting Grand Opening Dec 2 2011. The event took place in the shadow of two new condominium buildings that now rise up over the Distillery District and are the envy of Toronto mortgage broker as cultural events like the Christmas market and other proceedings inflate the value of the glass steel and cement properties that float above the unique historic district of Canada's largest and most prosperpous city.

Toronto social media super blogger Casie Stewart hosted an authentic Prohibition era speakeasy in the new fashion set by HBO Boardwalk Empire series alongside a notable beverage sponsor.
Canadian Club whiskey was served at the party and plenty of delicious snacks on toasted bread from organic ingredients were passed out so guests could keep up their strength in the free alcohol environment. It was a wonderfully original event and distinguishes Canadian Club as being an innovative and socially intelligent beverage company.

My Kenya safari adventure |

Do you have any interest in experiencing the most amazing 14 days of your life? Would you like to touchdown on your flight and immediately be thrown into an adventurous and natural setting? Do you like the idea of spending five days in the Masai Mara, where wildlife is bound to be seen around every corner? How about visiting Lake Nakuru, where you will see more flamingos than you can possibly imagine?
Whilst visiting the Masai Mara you will stay at a semi-permanent camp and at Nakuru you will stay in a guest- house as there are no camps within the park. Whilst on safari you will be accompanied by your own driver/guide and a cook who will prepare your meals.
Your own guide will take you to see the game parks you have chosen on your luxury safaris, to see lion, buffalo, cheetah, hippos, giraffe, elephant, baboon, gazelle, wildebeest and possibly the shy leopard. Some safaris include areas famous for their birdlife such as Lake Naivasha. Celebrated for its flamingos, Lake Naivasha also draws many other species of birds and many ornithologists as well!
One of the reasons why Kenya is so diverse with animal life is the fact that experiences frequent and steady rainfall. The rainy seasons are divided into two periods — the long rains of March and June and the short rains of between October and November. From January until March, the high temperatures can be expected by the traveler.
If either of these packages interests you, it’s highly recommended that you contact Safari so you can speak to one of their consultants. They will be able to give you excellent advice as to what safari holiday package might be the best fit for you and anyone you might be traveling with.

Canada travel guide packed with tips and advice and useful information on activities and adventures. Find out what you need to see and do find out and what's hot right now. This is a one stop travel destination guide so you can plan your travel adventure with ease.
Canada adventure holidays should include a trip to the country’s many famous museums to get a feel for the history of the world’s second largest country.
A great place to start is the Roedde House Museum. The Queen Anne revival style mansion is owned by the city of Vancouver. It was built by Gustav Roedde in 1893, as a home for his growing family. Having been designated as a heritage house in 1976, it served as the inspiration for the development of Barclay Heritage Square. Visitors can tour the house’s 11 rooms each furnished with fascinating pieces from the late eighteen hundreds. The best time to visit is on Sunday afternoons for the charming tea and tour.
St. Michael’s Cathedral in Toronto is the largest English-speaking Catholic church in Canada and should be included on Canada holidays. The church is known for its harsh straight exterior lines and its warm interior provided by natural light streaming through the cathedral’s windows. Built from 1845 to 1848, the church was constructed totally debt free through the generous gifts of its parishioners. Visitors are amazed at the great organ contained in the sanctuary. The great organ was installed in 1880. The church is still active today, particularly with Toronto’s homeless population. The 260 foot steeple beckons visitors to enjoy the quietude found inside.
McCord Museum of Canadian History was started in 1921 by David Ross McCord to house the fascinating amount of historical objects that his family had collected. The museum continued to grow with donations from other important families. Today the museum houses over 1,500,000 objects. In that collection, are almost 16,000 objects from Canada’s aboriginal people, many dating from 10,000 years ago. The museum also houses women’s dresses and accessories. The museum also houses North America’s oldest patchwork quilt, dating from 1726.
