Glowfoto Drag and Drop Uploader

We have released a BETA version of our Drag and Drop upload tool. The tool has been tested on Windows XP and Vista, but should work on other versions of Windows as well. Please report bugs and let us know what you think of it using the contact form.

How to use it

1. Click here to download the program.

2. Run the setup program. The uploader will be copied to your computer and a shortcut will be placed on your desktop.

3. Run the program by double-clicking the Glowfoto Drag and Drop Uploader shortcut. Select login from the file menu, and enter your Glowfoto username and password. If you wish to automatically log in each time you run the uploader, check the checkbox.

4. Once you've logged in, you'll see a list of your albums in the main panel. Simply select a bunch of images on your desktop and drag them onto the album panel you wish to upload to.

If you are using Firefox, you can drag images from web pages into your albums.

5. As you continue dragging images into the uploader, it accumulates a list of HTML and BBCode link codes you can use. To view the codes, use the Link Codes menu. You can also clear out the code lists from this menu.

Click the Copy button on the View Codes dialog window to copy the codes to the clipboard.

6. To quickly view any of your albums, double click the album in the list and a browser window will open showing your album and photos.

If you don't have any albums or haven't yet created the album you want to upload to, go to Glowfoto and create the album there. Your private album will be accessible from the uploader even if you haven't created any albums yet.

Stay up to date! We are working towards an official release of this tool. Check this page frequently for new versions.

Uninstalling

The setup process doesn't create any registry entries, so you can uninstall the easy way by simply deleting the Glowfoto\Drag and Drop folder from your Program Files folder.
