| Glowfoto Points |

Hey guys! Ok I was thinking today that I'd really like to get Glowfoto away from this ad nonsense. I hate the ads all around this site, and they barely cover the costs of running Glowfoto, so I came up with part of an idea.
What we're going to do is have a points system. Basically, every upgraded account will get a certain number of points every time their account is renewed -- so say, 5 points each month. People will also be able to buy more points at any time.
We've got a few ideas of how people could spend them, but I'd really like to know what you guys would want. What sort of features would you like to see that require points in order to use? We're thinking along the lines of Facebook's gifts, which are basically just little comments you can leave on someone's profile for a buck.
Any ideas? Please send them to me via mail, as the blog comment system is a little broken... someone better fix that soon!

| Memedex - add polls to your profile |

Hey guys, I want to let you know about another site I've been working on. It's called MEMEdex and its a polling and survey site.
The reason I mention it here is that it's a great way to add polls to your Glowfoto profiles.
All you need to do is sign up and create a poll and write down the poll id. Then come back to your My Glowfoto page, change your MEMEdex settings to poll id and enter the poll id. Your new poll will now appear on your profile.

Ok, so our groups system here at Glowfoto is really lame. We know this. The reason is... no one ever used them, so we just sort of left them in their original blah state.
Well, people are suddenly using the groups now, so... we're working on updating the groups. We already know people want to be able to comment on group photos, so that's definitely going to happen. We're also going to update the group comments to match the profile comments.
This is all going to happen this weekend.

Hey everyone. Hope you're all having an awesome Thursday.
I've got a question. We've been thinking about reworking the My Glowfoto page into two separate pages to make things a little easier to digest.
Basically, the idea is this:
The My Glowfoto page will show you your albums, allow you to upload photos, and show you what your friends are up to.
Then we'll add a new page which will contain all the other stuff (post blog, update status, etc).
What do you think? Do you like it all on one page, or would you want this stuff split into two different pages?

Wow, so we've seen a bunch of new members from a site called Orfay. None of us around here have ever heard of it, but we're glad to have you guys in the Glowfoto community!
I've gotten a few messages from several of you, and I've heard why you have all come here. I'd like to let you all know that Glowfoto is a quite well funded site, and you won't have to worry about your photos suddenly disappearing around here. We've been around since 2004 and we plan on being around a lot longer. So rest easy!
And also, if you have any comments, complaints, or suggestions, please let me know. We are usually really good about fixing things or adding new features pretty quickly.
