I am so broken hearted by the passing of my dearest virtual friend CHIMON. My heart is saddened and I am mourning for him. He is one of the most wonderful, professional, caring and loving person I've ever met on here, Yafro, orfay and Fubar websites. He is the one who invited me to join here and in Fubar. I am still shock and sad.... Sigh....Life is truly short. I regreted not meeting this wonderful soul in real life. He is the inspiration to some and good advisor and advocate to others.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. I also pray his spirit and his kind soul is in peace.
I love you and will miss you my dearest friend Chimon….. May you rest in peace.

Ollie Morgan, 64, made his transition from this life on March 3, 2009 in Las Cruces, NM after a brief illness. He was born on August 25, 1944 to Creola and Ollie Morgan in Flushing, NY. After graduating from Central High School in Kalamazoo, MI, he joined the Air Force, where he was stationed in Korea and Japan. Upon his return from the Air Force, he settled in Chicago, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Public Administration from Chicago State University. He also graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL with a special diploma in Public Administration. He spent over thirty years in law enforcement, as a corporate executive, and entrepreneur.
Ollie relocated from Chicago to Las Cruces, NM in 2001, where he immersed himself in the New Mexico political scene. He served on three levels of government, as a State Committeeman, as a member of the County Platform Committee, and as Precinct Chair of the 104th District. In addition, he was the author of "Shed No Tears", a photographer, and a noted historical speaker throughout New Mexico on its regional history.
Those left behind to celebrate his life are his partner of 33 years, Sheila McCaskill, son, Stefan Morgan, Chicago, IL, daughters, Michelle Morgan-Sharp, Los Angeles, CA, and Lisa McCaskill, Chicago, IL, five awesome grandchildren, Tyler, Tiana, and Landon in Los Angeles, CA; and Elijah and Tyia in Chicago, IL. No services are scheduled.

wow hot indeed. hope you're staying cool. Glad it wasn't quite that sweltering when i was in NM. but close ha. Japan looks to be low 70's and not too hot. hoorah for my too freckled always sunburnt self hehe |
